It’s time to start planning and stop dreaming. You’ve been meaning to get out and see Africa for a long time now. We know it’s not exactly as cheap as going to your mother-in-law’s place, but it is feasible with a little bit of planning. We want to help you save up for one of our custom african safari packages. Here are some tips for putting money into the jar for the trip of your lifetime.

Stop buying lunch. It is always less expensive to buy food at the grocery store and prepare your own meals. If you take some of the money you would usually spend on lunches or drinks you’ll have more money in no time.

Make a savings goal. Set a realistic number as to how much you would like to spend on a custom african safari. Then do the math to see how much money you would need to put away each month to make it happen in a set period of time. For example let’s say you want to save $100. If you put away $10 dollars a month you’ll meet your goal in just 10 months. You can adjust the savings amount to reach your goal faster or slow down as financial need arises.

Commute to work. Try carpooling with a co-worker. As you carpool keep track of how much money you are saving on gas. Poor that money directly into your savings.

Cut out unneeded products. We all buy things we don’t need. There comes a point where you have to admit that buying bottled water is not as frugal as buying a reusable water bottle and a water filter. Take a look at expenses you enjoy but don’t necessarily need and cut back.

With a little bit of time and effort you could be on a custom african safari in no time. Where will you go? What will you see? That is entirely up to you. All we can say is no matter where you go, you’ll have the time of your life. Adventuring is for the young and the old. Don’t put off planning your adventure for another day.
